Nickel City Motors is hiring a Shipper/Receiver to manage incoming and outgoing parts, maintain accurate inventory, and keep our service department running efficiently. This role is ideal for someone organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive or motorsports environment.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips
- Pick, pack, and ship outgoing orders (courier, freight)
- Label, bin, and organize parts in the warehouse and showroom
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts
- Process returns, cores, and warranty parts
- Coordinate with service technicians and parts advisors on orders
- Keep shipping/receiving area clean and organized
- Use computer systems to track inventory and shipments
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or parts department
- Basic computer skills (inventory or POS systems)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with shipping carriers and freight documentation
